This is ka90hv and good evening to everyone it has been an interesting day. I Got some writing done you know when you're writing a book about a war what you really need are some funny scenes and I did actually with the help of km7 a ly Managed to get some funny scenes out of this whole thing and I hate it when I get mired in a character's problems and I can't think of a way to solve them that isn't just stupid you know it has to problem science fiction is the solutions have to meet both the good points and the limitations of the universe and so you can't just decide that arbitrarily well suddenly this works for this one character but it doesn't work for anyone else unless you've got a really good reason for it. So I managed to avoid that pitfall and I played through my entire set of 40 Christmas carols today including Wexford carol with its wonderful accidental changes that are just very much a challenge if you're going to do them in both the bass and the melody line.
