Happy Friday indeed, I kept losing track of what day it was this week, so Friday, thank goodness it's Friday. So, let's see, I don't know, I had another one of those nights where I had not quite gotten enough sleep. I was so late, I got up early, trying to get stuff done, trying to get stuff moved out of my house. There's a lot over there for temporary storage, temporary, we'll underline temporary storage. And right now, I am on my way to Gerald, KM7CDW's place, to drop off a bunch of power pole stuffs and crimper. And one of the things that I was frustrated with when I first started with power poles, it is possible to do without a crimper, but your success rate is going to be low, at least at the beginning. So a crimper is definitely a handy tool to have with power poles. thing is that you know I had to look around a little bit to find out what the normal configuration is that's used with handmade radio operators because you stick the red one and the black one you know positive and negative together so that it makes it easy to plug into whatever you're going to plug into but there's a right and wrong orientation and anyway I finally found a wonderful illustration that says this is the way the pins go into the connector and this This is the way the connectors go together, so they mate properly, because otherwise you could risk blowing things up if you look it up backwards, and I won't go into any experience I might have had with that. As far as food goes, there are so many restaurant changes that are cutting back and closing and all that stuff. The ones that are surviving, they're having to come up with some low-cost options to draw in the customers, so that's probably what Arby's is doing there with that great sounding deal.
