Well, good evening Bill, and Bossa Bill, and Joan, and Amy, and everybody, this is Anne, KA90HP. Well, not a lot going on, messing around with stories and doing research, by which I mean reading about aircraft carriers and seeing what of it of their operations might apply to carriers whose ships that they are carrying are little hyperspace-capable fighter ships. It's a matter of making a diagram in your head of the ship and blocking it out so you know how these ships launch, how they're configured when living inside the main carrier, etc. it's been kind of fun. Stephen Koonce is a great author for that kind of thing. The Flight of the Intruder, The Intruders, Final Flight, Minotaur, various... there are ten books from the Jake Grafton series and they're all excellent so I'm going through those now. Anyway, that's about all the news that is news sorry okay 73 33 88 thanks bill for running that thanks to all of you for listening to me ramble on I love you all so this is ka 98 back to neck okay nine EHC and thank you so much it's very interesting to see where your mind goes you have a lot of fun sort of browsing through the world of literature to sort to fertilize your imagination, that's a nice way to live, good for you. And let's go out to Chicago and talk to Amy, who's still hanging out with family I guess, KB9IQX, come ahead. This is Repeater Station TV7 November 12th, November. Well good evening Bill, thank you for doing the net. Good evening to everybody on the net, I'm actually shooting a little video on my phone as I'm speaking. I have rebuilt this node that I'm talking on, well actually I guess I actually cannibalized the old node I was working on and I built this new one out of an old rack mount like television distribution amp that I pilfered, well, I pilfered from when I worked as a basically media and electronics technician at Northwestern University here in Chicago, or Evanston, Illinois, Eve Ill, if you want to be pedantic, anyway, one of the perks of my job was that I was I was charged with getting rid of old equipment so I could deaccession stuff. A lot of stuff was deaccessioned into my house. There we go. Anyway, after about 20 plus years, I was like, oh, I can use this equipment. Vindicated that I have kept on, kept this for so long. So anyway, I am pleased that it works. I was having some issue with it. I was like continually keying on and off, on and off, on and off when I plugged the mic in. And I was like, what's going on? And then I realized I had the grounds reversed. I had the mic ground going to the PTT ground and the PTT ground going to the mic ground and somehow that caused like an intermittent loop. And anyway, but it seems like it's fixed now because the PTT is when I want it to PTT and it's on PTT when I want it to undo that. So there we go. I'm super geeked about this. Enough of that. Let's see, yeah, I'm flying back tomorrow. So I'm slowly packing up my stuff, doing some last minute things. Saw quite a bit of people. I had a pretty good social calendar. You know, the thing is, I can never see everybody I want to see and do all the things. So what do I do? I go out and meet new people and hang out with new people. Anyway, I've started a list now of people that I need to see, which complements the foods that I need to eat and places I need to go. So I got various Chicago checklists now. Hope everybody has a good weekend, and I will hear you back on RS quite soon. KB9IQX. Thank you, Amy, for bringing us up to date on your Chicago doings and your needs. You sound very organized, more organized than I am. I didn't know you had that professional work at Northwestern University for 20 years. Good for you. And congratulations on getting your PTT to push when you wanted to talk, or talk when you wanted to push, or something like that. Anyway, very good, Amy. Thank you, and fly safely, and we'll talk to you next week. Let's move on and talk to Dean, who's just been a little shy tonight, KTE 7 ODB. Dean, are you with us?
