Good morning, Bob and the gang from South Kirkland. This is KV7GL. The name is Vic QTH in South Kirkland, water vessel Shasa, where it was a dark and stormy night. It started raining yesterday evening while we were having a great Seahawks gathering over at Mary's. In fact, we had both Mary's there. It was really a fun event. And particularly considering the way it turned out, man, who would have ever thought we'd have held San Francisco at a no-touchdown in their own home stadium. But that's what happened, and it was a joyous event. We had a great time. The rain did start coming down, though, and it rained steadily all night. It really got hard after midnight, and just a huge blob that came over us. It looks like we're on the backside of it right now, but I think we'll probably still see some drips during the day, but the heaviest stuff is over. The whole systems that have come through here have dumped about a little over an inch, and since midnight we've had 0.36 in the gauge, and it was pretty loud when I first got up this morning. The temperature is 46 degrees here. The dew point is down to 45, so I'm not seeing any fog out there right now. The wet bulb is also at 45. But visibility is just because of the precipitation is limited and not seeing many lights over on the western shore of the lake right now. The wind actually shows three knots. That's the first time I think the anemometers moved for several days. And the tips of the bamboo are waving around. The fur aren't moving, but the bamboo is moving a little bit. The humidity is up around 97 percent, I thought it would be 99, but it's 97. And the barometer, as Mary mentioned, took another big dip, and it's rising right now slowly, and we're currently at 29.43. Solar numbers, there isn't a lot of change from yesterday. The bands are still in pretty good shape. I even saw some activity on 10 meters, and with the K3OI event going on, 10 will get a lot of activity today. The only place I did not see any activity on the CW bands is on 80 meters, and that's kind of surprising. The B layer is starting to fill in, so 80 and 40 go away by the time the sun gets up. The solar flux is still sitting around 165, which is good, and the K index is less than 1, it's .7, so it's pretty quiet conditions out there, and should be a great time to be on HF if you have the capability. There's six visible sunspot regions right now, but there's another coronal hole starting to rotate into view. I think it's the one that was here last time that caused some mischief, so we'll see what develops as that rotates into view. 70, if you're all in, enjoy your Sunday. This is KB7GL.
