November 3, tango victor, my call sign originated in Baltimore, Maryland and you talk about the Navy, well, back in 1974 I was 100% Canadian, I'm still Canadian but I'm a dual citizen but I tried to enlist in the Navy back then and recruiter didn't understand the paperwork So I want to do communications, because we can't take you. You're Canadian. I said, you can draft me. I can't join. Next I went to the draft board, and they argued with me. I said, read your law, all permanent residents. So signed up for a draft, and of course, they didn't draft me. But that's a whole new story. But you're talking about blind operators who are visually impaired. I had a friend of mine back in Baltimore. I was part of an amateur TV group. And Bob's call sign, he's a silent key tablet. He was KC3FI. I put a post in the Facebook group, but it's still pending. But back in 1999, I did a TV interview with a station in Baltimore, but my TV, Miami's a TV station. And we were doing an interview, and a little bit midway through the interview or further on, Bob joined in and the two TV guys were flabbergasted that we were actually broadcasting video. The looks on their faces were phenomenal. Bob was legally blind, but he did answer TV and I just found out a year and a half ago two years later that he became a solid TV and I were good friends. you have to watch the video that was me back in yeah 26 years ago I still have my TV equipment actually I told the wife I'm gonna put the antenna up on the tower and I don't think anyone in town has TVs or hasn't has anymore so well we try just the finite you know get a Facebook so here's I'm doing here's I can watch it see anyone can see my signal but it's all right I love video and by the way we're still working on the we take a nickel here
