Hey, good morning Teresa, and then good morning to the net and it's Kurt Okay, I'll 70 ZQ transmitting from Bellevue a little raspy voice this morning I did some karaoke with friends up at Everett last night And and I saying kiss god of thunder and when I do that it always messes up my voice for a few days But I don't know. I don't I don't often sing, but when I do it's kiss so anyway. That was that was pretty fun Here you guys talk about Linux and all these other operating systems, I just wanted to share that I resurrected a Windows 10 laptop that I've been using for many years. It was not advanced enough to take on Windows 11, so it was going to be a paperweight if I didn't do something with it. So I ended up putting a different hard drive in it that I had in another laptop that has chrome OS and I like it a lot basically I turned it into a chrome a chrome based machine and it works great you know there's a couple of things that don't work and I don't think there's any sort of interactivity with the SD card slot on the side of the laptop and and that's just that kind of thing but other than that everything else works terrific it's got nice graphics and I'm able to plug in an extra monitor and it works terrific. The only mechanical issue is the keyboard has some sticky keys and I'm still trying to figure out how to fix those. But I can just plug another keyboard into it and it works great. I'm not ready to throw this thing away which is par for the course for me. I just use things to the absolute bitter end. So I will be able to use this for stuff and I'm looking forward to a couple more years with this guy. I replaced it with a small form factor desktop computer that I got refurbished for about 180 bucks and that's doing me fine too. Anyway, we were woken up this morning with some Puget Sound Energy work this morning on the cabling and stuff in our area and so that was started at 8.10 this morning and so now everybody in our neighborhood is awake but it's sunny out I've got a few things to do today in the house and I'm looking for just a stay home drinking coffee setting up a new printer and just getting on the radio so anyway I hope everyone has a great day take care kl7 dzq
