I can think of at least one reason why the performance there at the dome thing was cut a little bit short and that is because I'm guessing they can get more shows in and get some more people through there and make some more money. So that I'm pretty sure is the reason. So I've had my Kia Nero EV, it's working out really well. I did run into a little problem the other day, I had a headlight that went out and needs to be replaced so I've got that coming today, I'll get back to that in a minute. But the other thing is I went to start it last night and it's like, it just gave me control things, it doesn't do this, doesn't do that, put your key on the thing and for For some reason it was electrically not functioning and I figured it must be that 12 volt battery that they are talking about. You have to have a 12 volt battery to start the car and if that runs down you go no place. So anyway this morning I went out there and I jumped it. I jumped it with one of my lithium iron, whatever the heck it is, phosphate things, batteries. I just put it on there for about a minute and then I started it up and it started right up and I let it sit there for a minute and I took the battery off and it was still running and I let that run a few minutes and I turned it off and turned it back on and it started normally so for whatever reason the battery had run down maybe, oh I meant to check it with a volt meter, I meant to check it with a volt meter before I started any of this, damn I knew there was some step that I missed. Anyway because that would have really told me more of the story but yeah definitely I need to carry jumper cables or battery pack or something around and I think I'm just carrying lithium ion battery. Lithium ion batteries you are not supposed to use them for car starting because they cannot support the current. In fact the battery management system will kick in and take the battery offline usually. The trick that I found that does work is put the lithium ion battery on there with jumper cables and just let it charge the other battery in the car for 5 minutes, 10 minutes or whatever. Disconnect it and see if it starts and it usually will because the battery just needs a little bit of a boost there. Think about my headlight going out. So it's got projection lamps and halogens and they seem a little dim and I just want a little more light so I decided okay I'm going to try look into the LED as replacement bulbs. So I did that and the first thing that I saw looking through the ads and stuff is that they are advertising 400,000 lumens and all this stuff. And the stock bulbs are, I don't know, 3,000 or 30,000 lumens or something like that. They are way down there. All these other lamps, they are advertising 200,000 lumens. And I go, no wonder people get blinded by these lights because they are just so darn bright. And then also as I am going through the literature, I see that some sites say, you know, not for off-road use only but one side actually said that none of the aftermarket LED lamps fall under the rules of being acceptable for road use. I searched and searched and searched and I found the lowest brightness LED lamps that I could find so that is what I am going to be putting in this afternoon when they come in. on Amazon because that they had the one that I was looking for and I'd lifted a lot of reviews and I would have been willing to order them from any place but of course the other bonuses they get here today so I will be able to get my car legal and I'd be interested in any others of people's opinions on LED replacement lamps ki7zi
