Yes, when she, I got her a guitar and she started learning how to play it and then school started and it's her, she's first year of middle school so she had a chance to join the band and guitar unfortunately wasn't one of the ones she could pick there but she picked the cello and she started getting more into guitar now so she's promised her mom that she would finish the year out doing the cello but after that she wanted to switch to guitar whether it was with the school or just on her own, but either way she's doing good and some of the course she's learned during the cello also transferred to the guitars too, so she's having fun.
