Yeah, they made some visa changes during the pandemic. Right after the pandemic, I was going to take a trip to China. In fact, I was in China the night before the news broke worldwide about the pandemic. So I was actually there. I was having some trouble. I'd gotten denied a flight from Hong Kong. I was in Shenzhen, which is across the river from Hong Kong, across the harbor, and I couldn't get to the airport because my flight got canceled because I'd made the reservation so they didn't think I was going to make the flight. I was trying to get on the ferry to get across the channel there to the airport and I couldn't get across the channel because the airline didn't have a reservation for me. I finally contacted the airport to find out what was going on and they said, ìOh yeah, we cancelled that reservation because you made it so late, there was like no way you could have been on the flight.î I said, ìYeah, there was.î I would have been there two hours before the flight left. Anyway, so I ended up spending the night in the airport sleeping on the floor and went to Japan the next day to visit a friend. I was there for a week or two and it was that next day when they said, ìOh yeah, thereís in China some kind of pandemic so I'm surprised I didn't catch it laying on the floor in the airport there because of course it had been spreading around for some time before the news came out. After the pandemic I was going to take a trip back to China and I had a visa that was still good for another two years or three years and then China came out with a policy. They said they're canceling all visas and you had to apply for a new one so I was in the middle of going through a rigmarole much more complicated process. You had to give, before getting the China visa was pretty easy. I've got to drop a second.
