It was kind of weird. This was in my Kia Soul with halogens and I had a lamp that had gone out about eight months prior and the lamps by Sylvania lamps have got like a 12 month warranty so I was kind of bothered that this lamp went out after eight months but it's a good idea to change them in pairs. I figured if one is going to go out the other one is probably going to follow soon after So I bought two new headlamps, put them in and then about seven months later I go out to my car this evening, turn the headlights on and they are shining into some bushes and I see that one side is out. So I get out of the car and take a look, yep, one lamp is out, okay. So I had a friend's house to go to which was about 15 kilometers away on the freeway and I said, I wonder if I can get to my friend's house without getting pulled over. So most of that's on the freeway, the last couple of kilometers is on the freeway. Sure enough, I get off the freeway, I'm driving with less than a kilometer to go, and a cop pulls me over. And the cop says, did you know your headlight was out? Okay, this is where I did the wrong thing. What you're supposed to say is, you said, gosh, no officer, I checked them just yesterday and they were fine, instead, I was honest, and I said, yes, I saw earlier tonight that the headlight was out. Then I went on to make a further mistake. I had a headlight that went out about seven months ago and I replaced it so I'm surprised that this has gone out already. He says, okay, driver's license. So I get my driver's license and he comes back five minutes later and he says, okay, here's your citation. He says, here's your citation because you said you knew that the headlight was out six months ago. I said, no officer, you misunderstood me. I said, I knew the headlight was out tonight and I said that I had replaced them six months ago, seven months ago, whatever it was I said, and he says, oh, too bad, here's your citation, you can tell it to the officer, tell it to the court, brother, and the bad part with that was I was going to be out of town when the court date would have been and I didn't bother to get it changed, so I ended up having to pay the citation which was like over a hundred bucks, so stupid Tim, live and learn. Thank you very much. Thank you.
