Well, it must be my lucky day. Let's see. Here in Shoreline, just north of Seattle, it's kind of gray. The clouds aren't really too, too thick. Maybe the sun will come out. I don't know. It's not raining at the moment, although the streets are kind of damp and it is kind of moist out. I was out driving a friend to a bus stop earlier, and hey, it's Christmassy, so I'm in the Christmas spirit, more or less. And the other day, you know, I keep seeing people that have these tactical antennas for HTs, so I decided I just had to buy one. I got one here. It's a Bofang antenna. I think it's 48 inches, something like that. And one of the things I'm going to do over the next few days, I guess this will be kind of my Christmas gift to myself, is taking this out and checking how it actually performs. and one of the miraculous or semi-miraculous things that we've got on the PSRG repeater is the motor scope. So it's a perfect tool really for checking your antenna performance. So I will go to some various locations, hills and dales and valleys and all that, and I will check this antenna compared with my, let's see what have I got, my go-to antenna is the Nagoya 771 which is about a, I don't know, what is it, probably a 14 inch whip or 17 inch whip or something. It works really quite well. It is, that antenna, the 771 is definitely a step up from the normal antennas that come with an HT, the little rubber duct. So I'm going to do a comparison of all three, click that information and maybe get it out there into the world. I'm probably not the first person that's done that kind of test, but most people don't have rotoscopes to use as a tool to really see what the results are. So you know most areas of the country I think we're kind of unique with our what six receiver repeater system. I like that a lot.
