Good morning, Dan and y'all. This is KB7GL. The name is Vic QTH South Kirkland Motor Vessel Shasta. Yeah, it's dark out there. We're completely overcast right now. We got 0.05 on the gauge since midnight, probably not much more than mist. Just enough to get a few bucket tips. I think it tips every 0.01 or something like that. Just not enough to really wet anything down. I think there's a little mist out there. We've got good visibility, though. The lights over in Seattle are showing up pretty well right now. Forty degrees, a little warmer than yesterday. The wind right now is, well, it's been varying between zero and three out of the north, and I know that's going to change to the south here later this morning. The barometer has been falling here, slowly, but it has been falling. It just flattened out a couple hours ago at 29.33. Yeah, the wind models have been really in conflict. The U.S. models were showing a much more active system than the European model. Well, the European model won again, which it usually does. And it looks like we are going to get some wind about midday. It's going to be short-lived and it's not going to be as strong as as they were worried. So I think once the models started coming together, they all lean towards the European model and that's what we're going to have. Solar-wise, It's pretty quiet on the Sun right now. There's just not much activity. The big coronal hole is starting to rotate away from us So the stream the solar stream is going down a little the solar flux though is up It's still going up in the right direction up to 142 right now and the geomagnetic interference is down less than three So the numbers are going the right way and we're lucky Midday, you might even get a 10 meter opening if you're watching for it What I'm seeing on the spectrum analyzer, though, this morning is activity on 15 meters on down. Looks about normal for that. And, again, a lot of CW and single sideband on 40 meters right now. Everybody, a great Christmas Eve day. This is KB7GL. Thank you, Vic. Hey, what I'm seeing on 40 meters are a bunch of broadband interference from my neighbor's chandelier lights. And a couple nights ago, everything lit up crazily. I wonder if someone has a big holiday display. I'm going to have to get my portable radio out and go hunt it down. K-E-7-H-I-P. Good morning, Jan and Vanessa, this is K-E-7-H-I-P. Name is Laura. Season vessel is ready after two years to stop in North Beach. We're this morning to have an overcast, and it looks like it rains during the night. Everything is wet outside. The wind, I guess, is probably around 5-6 knots. I don't know the direction. To the north, visibility on the ground is not very good. And I cannot make out the sea state. And still haven't been out of the house. Haven't seen any critters in the backyard. And everyone have a great day. Thank you. This is K-7 H-I-T.
