Well hey Paul, 73, this is Justin, KK7QES. Thanks for running the net on this blustery and soggy evening. I'm on battery power here in the shed, sort of in anticipation of the lights going out. It's blowing pretty good here on Finn Hill, but we're doing okay so far. I wanted to say to Jonathan, good to hear you on the air again. I always enjoy your check-ins. to Brooks. I had no idea that you were now milling guitar parts, so get an order form up online. That's pretty cool. Today was fun. It was fairly productive. This is really exciting. I got a new bathroom fan installed. Finally, it was a project that was delayed, but it's working well. My only gripe, I feel like this always happens, it's the drywall cutout for the new fan needed like an eighth of an inch of additional room and so despite it being a super simple and straightforward replacement I got to make a giant mess of the bathroom with drywall dust and all that stuff. I got that done and then the other thing I'm working on tonight I got a another mesh core repeater so I ordered this pre-built solar repeater from a seller on FTE called Peak Mesh and they make all sorts of interesting LoRa enclosures that are 3D printed and some of them are made for putting on cars and all sorts of stuff like that. This one is made for pulling up into a tree and it has solar panels on the top of it and then on the bottom of it coming out is an end type connector for the antenna. So I've got it flashed and doing a little bit of testing but the next step is getting it up into one of the giant fir trees I've got on my property and I am trying to figure out, so I want to put it on a pulley system and I found this on YouTube, there's a guy that has devised a sort of retrievable pulley system that you can deploy and then take back down and it's super cool so I'm gonna make that but I'm trying to figure out if I'm gonna use a slingshot or if I'm gonna use a drone to start running the the fishing line up I think I can get it higher with a drone for sure but not really meant to do stuff like that so I don't know to mess around with this stuff that's what's going on with me thanks Paul kk7 QES back to that
