One of the things they fix is you can have this situation where you have two nodes and one you designate sort of a repeater and one is a companion node and that works well on mesh core rather than it not really being feasible on mesh tastic. So you put something on your roof, you have a little node that's close to you that's sort of like that, that'll work. I think that's going to open up a lot of possibilities for people.
