Well, I have been playing radio for coming up on two years now, April or two years, and mainly just over on the DMRS side, but I've got into the rally team and I'm sure as you guys know, rally is largely ran by ham radio operators, so I want to be able to expand into the rally world. And a lot of my friends are ham radio operators, so the better ability I have to communicate with those that I surround myself with, you know, the better. I don't like to rely on phones all the time, and I'd rather just talk on a radio, which that's what I've been doing just on a private DMR talk group and just talking with my friends and having fun. So I don't know, it's just another level of preparedness. KM7DKS.
