All right Arthur hey come on in and I know you're getting ready to go to a Natchez So, uh, how are things going today? Go ahead ke7 in UI Yeah, well, I don't have too much to say in addition to what I said, I'm a nine o'clock nap this morning with being excited about the New 40 meter dipole. I guess this is my third dipole Completely hum-bruised except for the ballon. I got on Amazon, but it's just a one-to-one one, so nothing really interesting with that. I do have some toroids and magnet wire that I am going to try to home brew some infed antennas with on some of the other frequencies, but yeah, just kind of having fun with that. It's too bad my morning has been so busy at work because I've just been wanting to like stuff, but that's okay. Yeah, I'm looking in court to sit using that more. I was chatting with a coworker of mine since we're all remote. He lives in Idaho in Coeur d'Alene and I was talking about some of the conversations I was hearing over from people in his direction. But yeah, it's pretty cool with this big high antenna in my yard being able to hear people all the way between Pennsylvania and Hawaii. It's pretty wild what radio can do around the world. And then lots of shortwave stations that I didn't even know were, I knew they existed but I haven't really listened to shortwave so that was kind of interesting to checking that out. So yeah, after work I'll look forward to having some more fun with that and then I have my programming cables that arrive for programming my radios with the repeaters so I will be learning how to do that with CHIRP after work, too. So, yep, lots of stuff to do, too little time to do it, but at least I'm having fun. And once I learn all this, I get to teach the kids and get them into it. So, yeah, that's good stuff.
