and it was coming within 7.9 lunar distances away from us and a lunar distance is just the distance the Moon is away from us so 7.9 times that. So it's a fair clip away from Earth but in terms of distance and space it's pretty minuscule. 10.4 km a second and 16 meters in diameter. Today as well we have 20.25 WQ3, 8.4 lunar distances away, 2.4 km a second in 10 meters in diameter. Now, I didn't work out either one of those tonight as to the explosive force they would have if, just theoretically, if they were to hit the Earth. Either one of those, particularly the 10-meter one, wouldn't make it through the atmosphere, certainly wouldn't make it to the ground, I wouldn't think. It would be an air burst.
