All right of course the first thing here of let's see yeah this morning was the winter solstice so happy solstice to everyone I guess it was 703 a.m pacific time officially so as we said earlier the days will start getting a little bit longer which I'm looking forward to. Of course this Thursday will be Christmas day for those that celebrate and then of course on Saturdays after this we have a couple of recurring events and I do believe they're still happening this weekend so Saturday is December 27th Radio Cold of Tacoma has their open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Then of course every Saturday evening is the SimplexNet. This happens 8 p.m. local time here in the Puget Sound area and the frequency is 146.56. The SimplexNet is a great way to see who you can talk to without a repeater in between you. All right, after that the next PSRG educational meeting will be Saturday, January 10th, 1 And these are held on Zoom. The meeting link and pass code will be shared as the event nears. But this subject matter for this educational meeting will be an introduction to mesh core. If you have been on this repeater for any amount of time, you have probably heard a bunch of people including myself talking about mesh core and even how it potentially has some pros, more pros than cons over mesh-tastic. And so if you have not gotten on the mesh core bandwagon you will not want to miss this especially if you have some meshtastic equipment and haven't been super happy with the meshtastic network or at least where you live.
