I spent the day yesterday, well not the entire day, just the first half of the day trying to upgrade to a Mars Mod on my DX10 using the touch, the two terminals and push reset never did work. I then decided to do some more research and the reason we were trying to get the Mars mod on that radio having to do with 60 meters and the frequency that the washest ADOC gave us was not we could transmit on them on the DX10 I could tune to it and I can hear them talking but I couldn't transmit and I think what we've figured out is that in 60 meters you may only transmit on the specific channels and the frequency they gave us is within the channel range but not the frequency. So it's a learning process, not having done it at 60 meters before, but it is something I need to figure out how to do because we're going to need to be able to talk to DOC on the bed and I understand they're calling for hams with a 12 hour shift. I'm not sure I'd be much good unless I, you know, prepped for it, slept all day today. Not going to happen. Way too much to do, and the base commander would veto that.
