Well, good morning Gail and good morning to Joe and Joyce and Rosie and Roy and Larry and everybody in the whole gang Not much going on today Gail. I hope you're doing okay Been a busy past couple of days. I haven't even had a chance to get on the net yesterday and the day before They rescheduled my or they changed my wife's day off days off and they created a really Odd schedule for the next week or two before her change of days goes into effect So she has like one day off here one day off there. So I've had to reschedule all of my Doctor's appointments that were set for this week and last week and And so I've been on the phone with the VA Pretty much for about two hours almost every morning the past couple days trying to reschedule stuff. I had eight appointments that needed to be redone over the next month and a half maybe two months and so and then of course after I did that then the VA called me yesterday and rescheduled one of my appointments uh for tomorrow uh it was supposed to be tomorrow afternoon they made it tomorrow morning so uh joe kk7g will be doing the net for me uh because I won't have enough time to do the net and get ready to get out of here for the appointment so It takes me a lot longer to get ready to go somewhere these days. Not as long as it used to take me when I was bedridden, obviously, but still takes me quite a while to get ready. So just to be safe, or rather be safe than sorry, I asked Joe to do the net for me tomorrow, so he'll be at the helm doing the net, and I will be on my way to the doctor's at about probably about 8.30 I'll be 8.15 or so. Other than that, not much else going on. I've been playing with the dogs. Been up since early this morning since about 5 a.m. and made my coffee of course and all that kind of fun stuff. But just taking care of the puppy. The youngest puppy had surgery. Let me drop for a second. The youngest puppy had surgery last Thursday and we got her fixed. So she was down for a few days days but she's doing she's back to her same old self she won't even keep the recovery suit on she keeps slipping through it and just going crazy so this morning they were out playing and she was tearing up the yard unbelievable how fast she is for a little dog she is she keeps up with the big bugs for sure so we've just been having some fun this morning and I wanted to check in make sure to say good morning to everybody and wish everybody a great Thanksgiving I'm doing a 24-pound turkey. There's only four of us, by the way. Only four people here. So doing a 24-pound turkey and a nice ham. The ham I won't be, probably won't cook the same day. I'll probably cook that a few days later after we get rid of some turkey. But we're gonna be celebrating over the next week or so, and I have some some good food. So I'm gonna make the stuffing, of course, and the 24-pound turkey. And I usually do it with a cheesecloth on top of it soaked in chicken broth or chicken stock and lots of butter and so forth this way it really covers the skin and soaks the skin and gets it nice and crispy we can slow cook it at about 325 and it just always comes out really good every year so I'm kind of looking forward to the Thanksgiving this year even though I make turkey throughout the year I always look forward of Thanksgiving because I don't make all the other fixings so everything from sweet mashed potatoes to the cranberry sauce for my mother I'm not a big fan of cranberry sauce but I figured you know I don't know how many Thanksgivings my mom will have with us so I'm trying to make this one a little bit more small I shouldn't say a little more special they're all special but I just want to make sure that she has a really good Thanksgiving this year anyway sudden that that's really about it and I will turn it back to the net everybody have a Have a great day and a great Thanksgiving week. Back to you there, Gail. And you, too. Have a great Thanksgiving. 7-3-0. K-T-7-J-O-E. Joe in Las Vegas.
