So anyone who's been outside the last week or so knows we had a little bit of rain, but not much. And the rest of the week is going to be pretty dry, but eventually the rains will come. And so usually in the past years, I've just worn full-controlled sandals for my winter weather, and it works out pretty well, except on those rare occasions when I manage to step in a mud puddle. It's a little deeper than expected, especially at night when I can't see them. So this year I've decided I'm going to take a couple of shoes today, regular style shoes that will protect me a little bit more from the rain and mud puddles. And I just finished applying waterproofing to those, letting them dry so that I'll be all prepared for the rain and not get my shoes soaked. That's the exciting news that I've got for today.
