Well, Tim, KK7JL. Nice to meet you. I'm also a Tim, and let's hear what's going on with you. Good afternoon, beautiful Saturday afternoon, overcast, cold, but hey, all in all, I got up this morning and that's always a good sign. What's new with me? I'm usually just listening. I listen a lot and don't talk a lot, but right now my wife's in getting her hair done and so I'm sitting out in the car waiting for her. And I just wanted to say that when I listen, I sometimes hear things that are a benefit to me. I heard a Scottish ham talking about using an Icom HT HI, it's a headset for an HT. It got me thinking, I do a lot of walking and I do a lot of listening. I decided I was going to order those, so I ordered one and something else from Ham Radio outlet and we'll see when it gets here how much I use it. I use a speaker mic some of the time but most of the time I just turn it on and listen but I feel kind of weird when I'm walking around and just I got these disembodied voices speaking from a chest pocket.
