Sounds about right for Newfoundland as well. We haven't hit 80 degrees yet this summer. We've had a slew of icebergs just offshore. That happens every year from May until about mid-July. I don't see there's many left now, but there was early. There's several hundred just offshore here. I definitely understand the long winters.
