It's three days before Christmas, and we're practically on hyper drive with all those groceries and stuff. Traffic jams and balls are crowded. but we're practically still on standby because uh as an international seaport here in my homeland we're practically also flooded with passengers who are going on inter-island ferries uh to other islands here in the Philippines going home for Christmas uh all of those uh passengers here Hey, well thank you for that traffic report there. It sounds like things are a little bit crazy there, but yeah, definitely happy holidays to you. I hope everyone is able to get home to their islands and wherever be it and see family. Good evening, Brian and everyone on the net. Well, I'm glad you asked me about Plex, because I'm sitting here. You know, I threw my call sign out, and I'm thinking, oh, what am I going to talk about? is I guess tonight I didn't have any prepared remarks but yeah Plex has been um been really one of the things I really liked about it is it's very forgiving when it comes to um associating album artwork particular albums getting the particular version of the album correct. Like even Apple Music, no matter how much I try to get all the artwork associated with the particular albums and the music. Sometimes things get out of whack, especially on my iPhone, it's really strange. Sometimes I'll get album covers for like completely different bands associated with different albums by other bands on my iPhone. What I end up doing then is just deleting them and refreshing them and it comes back. Yeah, Plex is really cool because I can watch movies on my server and all my music. I can listen to it anywhere. I can be driving around and like for instance there was a song I heard on the radio. I was tuning around on the radio the other day and I was like, oh, I caught the tail end of it. And they go, oh, wait a second, I can get it from Unplex by getting it from my home music server. So I was able to replay the song. So other than that, still It's been really exciting watching some football today. That last game that was just on, the Patriots and the Ravens, actually turned out to be a really good game. The Patriots came back from, I think it was 11 points. I didn't really have a dog in the fight, I guess I kind of was rooting for the Ravens after what the Patriots did to us like a decade ago. This is so much fun to see when they're talking about the standings and where all the teams are that the Seahawks are the number one team in the NFC and they're tied at 12-3 with, you know, I think the Patriots and the Broncos are also 12-3 so, you know, we control our own destiny, that's what they keep saying. So let's hope things go well, we just have to beat the Panthers this coming weekend and then the 49ers the following weekend and we could have the number one seed and I don't want to talk Super Bowl yet but you know anyway, you know where I'm going with that, KG70D. Hey well thanks for that Dean of course yeah yeah I didn't watch any of the football games today I sometimes I watch some of the other games that they're on but had a very busy day with the last day of Hanukkah tonight and stuff like that we kind of laid low there yeah oh my gosh I think you mentioned the other night but yeah the Seahawks game Thursday also I had a rehearsal so I couldn't see the game but I did watch some YouTube highlights later and I just could not believe that game there so yep we'll see oh I know I don't want I don't want to say the Super Bowl word, oops I just said it, but yeah we'll see what happens. Yeah as far as Plex goes, yeah it's a good product but it can be quirky for sure. It sounds like you've already discovered some of the artwork won't quite match up, you got to do, they even call it the Plex dance, I'm not sure if you've seen that in many of the forums where you have to specifically go through and delete the thing and then scan and then empty trash, clean bundles, and then go to kind of the song and dance, pun intended, that you have to go through sometimes and sometimes with the artwork like for instance like I took a DVD of Beetlejuice that I own and it just wants to think it's the new one. It's like no, no, no, it's the old one. Like it kept trying to think it's the new one and stuff like that. Just little things like that can be a little frustrating but once you kind of understand the pitfalls you can kind of anticipate them and kind of make sure it's doing the right thing. And once you tell it and you know make sure it tends to remember and it's all good there. So all right hey glad you're having some fun with that and yeah the remote streaming is amazing there just have your full library in your pocket.
