Good morning, Mary and Annette. This is KB 7 GL. The name is Vic QTH South Kirkland motor vessel Shasa. I Think we're mostly cloudy Again, I like Bob said I can't tell what color the sky is right now It's still dark and we're going to continue to get a little darker in the mornings until January 6th But I think the forecast is for some sun breaks today So I'm hopeful we'll see the Sun come up or come through this stuff here pretty soon visibility is good though We could see the lights over on the western shore of the lake in Seattle. Temperature has dropped quite a bit from yesterday for the morning report. We're at 37 degrees right now. There's no wind. We did get a fairly intense squall line come through yesterday evening, and we got about maybe just under two-tenths of an inch in the gauge yesterday. We've had nothing since midnight, though, and I think things are going to be drying out today for a while anyway at least and the speaking of the wind there I've seen a couple of different reports of a wind forecast for Christmas Eve maybe up to 50 knots so just be prepared for that I don't know how accurate that is but I've seen more than one report of that the barometer took a big dip when the squall line came through yesterday and then the it started rising again and for last six hours it's been flat at 29.85. Solar is about the same as it has been except the solar index is going up still it's up to 133 so that's going in the right direction the noise level the geomagnetic noise is still up around three and that's forecast to drop down again we're still getting a fairly strong solar stream out of the big cool hole but there's nothing really on the the horizon it looks like it's going to disrupt everything and I listened to the bands from from 15 on down through 80 and there was even some activity in the extra portion of the 80 meter band and then six the California station down there looking for some DX so 40 and 80 are right now the go-to bands this time of the day and then 20 will start coming in here pretty pretty soon I think I think that's it from Kirkland, everybody have a great Tuesday, this is KB7GL.
