Well fine business Arthur and yes beware of power only USB cables that don't handle data You've got to really pay attention to that because I run into the exact same problem. Also with my max I usually don't have too much problem I've got a couple of them that I use one an older one that I like to use for ham radio an old about 11 year old Mac Mini now But when I dab problems, it seems like it's usually like the software colliding with the overly strict security protocols, which is one of their strengths, but it's also one of their pain in the posterior. But when they're working, they work fine. I use the old Mac Mini for my KX2 utility, the Mac client for controlling my KX2. What else? Also FLDigi. I never have any trouble running on the older Mac, but if I have a newer six year old Mac, It's like, sometimes it's like, nope, what do you think, you get to use this strange software on our beautifully clean, secure platform. So it says, of course, the same thing in the DOS world, in the Windows world. I used to have a DOS machine that I could run Windows 3.1 on, but I ran it on DOS 6.1 because I had software that I wanted to run on it that wouldn't run in Windows. So that's going back far enough. Couple of CPM machines. What else? About three Apple IIs. Believe it or not there's some software that runs on those. But that stuff is going by the wayside these days. But yeah, and then we'll see what else. All I wrote was yes, yes, beware, power only, yes, beware. Oh yeah. that the thing that Amy Ann and Madeline are going to put on and so I've never mentioned this on the on the airport but FYI that Saturday thing in UTC will be at 2130 so I don't understand how any ham radio operators that talk to anyone that's not local in their life don't have a UTC clock handy because that's the solution you know gosh it used to be that railroads couldn't even run on each other because they weren't the same gauge and never mind don't get me started yeah get myself started so I find something simpler I think velcro is simpler than shoelaces not that I don't have I don't know my knots I was in the US Navy I can do Marlin spikes humanship with the best of them but I'd rather slip on my Skechers than lace shoes I often even my hiking boots I I have them lace tight enough that they don't fall off but loose enough so that I could slip them off you know because I'm usually not doing any serious rock climbing anyway take care Arthur and all I wrote was yes you know why why beware first power all USB cables no data that was all I wrote because that's the most disturbing thing that you brought up like why well you know you got to save on that copper it's only like pennies worth of copper yeah but times 10,000 cables. That's 10,000 pennies.
