I am out enjoying the blue sky, and the clouds that are around are nice clouds, mostly. So a beautiful day to get out. Getting a little bit of a late start here. I was up half the night doing some work stuff and trying to help someone out with some stuff, stuff, and ended up going to bed very late and waking up late. So I'm actually about three hours behind where I had hoped to be. I'm heading over to Vetco right now. I've got a, folks in China were supposed to send me a couple of gel warmers, which is for an ultrasound system. Anyway, they only sent me one and they didn't send a power supply with it. So I've got to go over to Vetco and do some connectors and see about getting the power supply and then so on and so forth. Oh, and some fuses, yes. I've got a tale about fuses I won't go into because it's embarrassing. I should not need a fuse, but I need fuses for a radio. So a screw that I got. I got a Goodwill 60 bucks. It's a Razer E200 model, which I find out after reading reviews after the fact, is that it's like one speed. You turn the accelerator on and it goes, or you turn it off and it stops, you know, which is not ideal. And the other thing is, is that it takes two lead-acid batteries, seven amp hour, for 24 volts total. And the batteries are pretty much to put. And the batteries aren't expensive. only like 20 bucks each but I'm kind of arguing with myself now do I go ahead and get batteries and invest more money into this thing that only has one speed goes 12 miles an hour which is adequate for me it's kind of an off-road model although not really but supposedly anyway so I'm trying to decide about that maybe I'll just take back to goodwill and redonate it or whatever but I mean you know it's not useful at the moment what else oh I got a package it middle of last week I got a notification from DHL that there was a package come in and I needed to pay $46 of duty which of course is we can thanks to our government policies for tariffs so I go I don't remember having a had a package from FedEx that I got last week from China related to a project, but I said I don't remember having anything coming to me from DHL. So I looked through my emails, nothing from DHL. I'm going to drop. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November, Quebec, November. I sent a note back to folks in China. I said, hey, did you guys send me some kind of package through DHL? It was it was my old address on it so I had the address changed to the DHL website but $46 what is this you know I'll pay the tariff if it's something that is project related or whatever. I mention that because last year I got a Christmas gift from China yes a nice little destiny box it was a black a narrow black tie which I don't wear ties much anymore and I'm not sure I'd ever wear this thing but it It's like, you know, a low-value gift. Maybe it's worth ten dollars or something. So I'm thinking this is something they're sending me for Christmas and $46 for a chair sounds kind of cheap, but there'd be something more than a tie anyway, so I get the response back from China No, we didn't send you anything And then oh, oh, wait, wait, wait, no, they didn't send anything for project. They did send me a Christmas gift so this is a Christmas gift and There should be any tariffs because they paid them Well clearly they didn't pay them so this morning I get a call from an AI assistant with a southern accent saying I needed to pay this and if it doesn't get paid it gets sent back so I'm just gonna let them send it back because I don't want to pay $46 for a tie or some silly equivalent usually the gifts they send are yeah not so great anyway that's it for me a beautiful day get out KI7CDI
