This is WQ78, I'm James, great to hear Sean from the future, VK3, WK and it was so nice to meet you when you were up here, what a treat. And some day I'll be awake enough to check into the King Arthur net, what a treat. I, well I picked up some little tiny o-rings to see if that would help out with my little antenna that doesn't want to latch to my BNC connector on my handheld and it does tighten things up but it just kind of, the antenna just kind of tilts. It's not an expensive antenna but it sure works good. I just wanted to like stick to the BNC connector. doesn't want to grab the pins so the little o-rings do tighten things up I'm not sure if it's the actual solution washers do not work so we tried o-rings courtesy of McClendon's hardware and we'll just continue to kind of experiment here with different kinds of you know fasteners and stuff but it is is what it is and of course the SMA version works fine but the idea is that we want to try something that doesn't exert the SMA connector because that has a finite life span so to speak. Anyway that's kind of what I'm up to. Thank you Kami so much for hosting. Hope Robert is doing well. It's great to hear Grossi and with that I will wish everyone well. Be safe, stay dry, stay warm and don't burn! Looking forward to the educational meeting. W27H back to Kami. Well, it's great to hear from you, James, and you also don't burn. Yeah, I've done it way too many times. It is no fun and you are correct when you say you won't like it. You won't. It's never any good. glad that the O-rings seem to be helping out a little bit and I do love McClendon's. I don't live near McClendon's anymore but I used to frequent that place because not only did they seem to have everything they have people there that actually know what the things are and how they work and what they do and and they give great advice and all the things. I miss that place. You take care, James, and thanks again for stopping by to check in. This is Cami, KJ7RAB. You're listening to the new net on the PSRG Repeater in Seattle, Washington. It's 12 11 p.m. And up next we have Seth, KM7BKX. Your QRZ page is looking good and I love that picture that you've got posted with the radio and your call sign and all the things nicely done. How are you doing today?
