Got you on the list. We'll go ahead and draw a line there. That's a perfect way to start. We'll go back to the top to Ann. 30 years, 33. Ann, KA9, EHV, please come ahead with your Friday evening report. This is KA9, EHV. Ann in Seattle. Good evening to Rebecca. Hello to Leo. And hello to everyone else on the net. Well, it was a Friday. I didn't have beer tonight because I wasn't feeling great today, but I went to work anyway. And of course, this would be the day that my relief doesn't show up. And we had people in. My goodness, it's getting to be right before Christmas, and now suddenly people are showing up in droves. So in the ongoing story of the 15-year-old female space cadet who didn't want to join, the community she dwells, she grew up in, is a religious community which has the tradition of assigning vocations, which is what you do for work. It's what makes your life speak to others, and disciplines which are what makes your life and your work speak to God. That's the way they see it. And so disciplines are usually spiritual things. And this poor girl at age 12 got assigned seamanship as a discipline. And she ends up having to sail some really long distance alone just before her confirmation. But I needed somebody to talk to me about boats. And so into the gallery walks a commercial fisherman. Now, what's the likelihood of that? I don't know. And then the other thing that was funny is this couple walks in and I asked if there was any holiday song they wanted to hear, and they said, Dreidel! And I'm like, oh, not that song here. Let me find something slightly better. So I sang them a song called, And the woman looks at me and says, oh my gosh, that's Ladino. And I said, yes, Ladino, for those of you who are curious, is the Spanish-Turkish equivalent of Yiddish. So Yiddish is kind of a combination between German and Hebrew and a few other languages, but it's the language of the Ashkenazi Jews. Latino is Spanish and Turkish and Hebrew and some other languages and it is the language of the Sephardim and so this woman was a Sephardic Jew and knew Ladino and she recognized it which is nice because that means that I was speaking it reasonably correctly I'm always afraid I'm gonna butcher somebody's language but anyway so it was a totally cool day and so that was basically it I'm hoping everybody else is getting prepared for holidays to eat good food and drink good drinks and tomorrow night I'm going to have my pumpkin beer kj7 ij's this 73 33 88 to all of you thanks to Rebecca for running that thank all of you for listening to me ramble on this is You're all great, this is KA90HV back to net.
