The 7wf afternoon good morning from the west coast. Oh, yes. I've had my share of uh thing and intermod and So the important thing is try to identify What the interference is and where it's manifesting Um because there's so many potential ways as I mentioned intermod or or local mixing or whatever swamping the proximity but uh, yes, i've had uh Everything happened to me over the years. My favorite story, however, is more to do with, I'll just tell the story. So we're talking on UHF Simplex, and he was on his way home, talking to him from home here, and he happened to live out in the street from his complex, was a CDC broadcast transmitter. And the transmitter was linked on a UHF frequency to downtown Vancouver studio and as he drove into his driveway he said, well Rick I'm home and V7 and gave my call and then his call and then that was it. Moments later my phone started ringing, we just heard your call sign on CBC, a little bit of thinking and we realized that some kind of harmonic, so in the transmitter, his call sign, my call sign was heard. So we tested that again the next day and sure enough a couple of clicks from the microphone and you can hear it on your CBC broadcast receive. So we opted to go to a different call from then on.
