2003? Yeah, 2003. I'd gotten back from Africa. I was still working for the government at the time. And I wanted to talk and watch, you know, the most basic thing. But I wanted a nice looking one, not just a cheap little plastic one that they sold, cheap as dirt. So I bought this one, it was like 150 bucks. And that's all it did, was, now it's time when you press the button. Oh, and the alarm sound. Rooster. I thought that was pretty sick. But the look of the watch was just an analog face watch. It was like gold plated crap material. The gold plating wore off it, you know, after like not even a year. And I freaking loved that thing, man. And now, there's smart watches that can do all of that, plus a thousand more things. You know, even the talking. This thing does it. You put two fingers on the screen. 9.44 PM. See? It just touches the screen with two fingers and announces the time. But it also does a million other things. But I find that, like where I do still have some sight, I find my Apple Watch is such an awesome accessibility tool.
