And actually, these were referred to as calutheras. And these are found in the ash fall fossil bed in Northeastern Nebraska. And this is the very first direct evidence of large carnivores in these beds. And the area's been given a name rhinal Pompeii, because the specimens were so well preserved in this ash. And because of this extensive volcanic activity that happened in Yellowstone over 12 million years ago.
