Thanks for taking my check in. We've got 76th 3, Foxtrot here on the Colorado Front Range going up to 95. Sunny skies, we're at 30% humidity. And, let's see, so on this day in history, July 21, 1861, the first battle of Bull Run, also known as the Battle of First Manassas. And that took place in Virginia. So, at the time, the Union was getting political pressure to end the Confederacy and to attack Richmond, Virginia, which was the capital, and to end the Confederacy at that point. So, the Union forces at Manassas, Virginia, crossed Bull Run and attacked Confederate forces and had an initial advantage, but then Confederate reinforcements arrived by rail from Shenandoah Valley and turned the tide of that battle. So, that was the first major battle of the American Civil War, July 21, 1851. I just kind of know that area a little bit because I lived in Virginia for 15 years and my wife is from Manassas. So, there you go, this day in history. Thanks for taking my check in, Dave. This is K0OBX. Back to that.
