Alright kj5 IRQ. This is Casey to PKG out of East Machias You know, what's really weird about Maine is that the lack of laws I Mean like there are no in my area. There's no building code laws You know or very few the building inspector they have a building inspector and he can come and look at your place anytime he wants But you don't need to use licensed plumbers or electricians You have every choice of every type of material. Most people pick duct tape and plywood. But there's not a lot of laws about that at all. And we were surprised when we built a house, we wanted to build a really nice one. And we wanted to stick to all the codes and the contractors looked at me and said, codes? What codes? There aren't any. So a lot of our stuff, they have town rules and things like that. And we got around a few of those, but there were just, you know, a sparsity of building codes. I will tell you one thing, in Maine it's illegal to sell, trade, or exchange cars on Sundays. So there's something for you right there. I was just Googling, I found out that in South Berwick, which is a town not near me, mid-state I think. It's against a lot of park in front of a Dunkin Donuts. And that's because those spaces are reserved for police. So those are the weird laws I could I could come up with. And you can, if you're 12 years old, you can own and carry a gun in Maine. But you got to be 12. 11 and a half won't work. What else you got here? There is, you know, definitely a resistance to passing laws in Maine and I hear about it you know recently when I sort of catch up on Maine itself they don't like a lot of laws and they just fought to death over a red flag law we had a yellow flag law which means the cops could come in and or go to a judge and then give you a psych evaluation and if you couldn't pass that then they would take the guns well the red flag law says that your mother or somebody in your family can turn you into the cops if they think that you a danger to yourself or to others and the amount of resistance on that was intense and the discussions I've had with people is that they're afraid of those laws because they're afraid that their neighbors will will call the police on them for shooting guns on their property or doing something like this or waving their guns around and so that was the main resistance to the whole you know any kind of a red flag law they were afraid their neighbors and And I was like, well, why don't you be nice to your neighbors instead? Wave your guns at them. Anyway, back to you. KJ5 IRQ and KC2 PKG.
