KJ5RLQ returning the Walmart Black Friday is done she is cashing out status report I'm poor again um gray a couple of things I do on mine and I guess it's because I've read about it somewhere I doubt I made it up Bill is right I I turn mine a quarter turn every 15 20 minutes or so maybe every 30 minutes or so that facilitates even cooking. I know it's a cylindrical cooking utensil or you're cooking the rice and you think that it would be evenly heated all the way around but there's no guarantee that those jets are the same diameter, you know the propane jets or anything like that. And I'm convinced mine does cook harder on one side than the other. So I do. I rotate mine about every 15-20 minutes and that ensures even cooking and browning all the way around. Temperature, yeah it's all or nothing. I've never even heard of anybody trying to do anything but all or nothing. Do not, I don't think I said this and I probably should have and it's not something I'll think about just because I know about it. Don't use sugar based products or anything you cook in there. There's no temperature dial and mechanism in place. So anything that's sweet, sugary, it's going to, you know, of course caramelize and then eventually burn, especially for the length of time that it's in there. It took almost 3 hours for my turkey to cook yesterday. Of course I cooked it outside and it was a bit windy so that affected it too. You gotta take in the environmental conditions in which you're cooking to make sure that Hang on one second. Where's my wallet? Hang on one second, guys. Okay. Alright, my lap's looking for my wallet. It's an important piece of equipment. How much do I even want to know? How much we ended up spending? No? Okay. Alright. Sorry, y'all. Here in the live, real live talk between the husband and wife of 23 minutes, y'all want to know how much you spend? She says no. So I just say okay and move on. So the big easy. Yeah, turn it every 15 minutes or so. That ensures proper cooking, it's all or nothing, don't use any sugar based products. I grind my turkey with brown sugar and salt and some other things, however that doesn't affect the browning because it's a brown, right? And then of course I'm going to end up taking the brown and drying it off and seasoning it and everything after the fact. So with the seasoning and everything you put on top of it, before you put it in a big easy that you don't want it to be super super sweet or anything, that way it doesn't burn on you. I think I learned that lesson a hard way to be honest. Let me take a quick break.
