Well I can agree with you on that, so like in my area, there is a radio club about drive time, it's about 30 minutes away, and I communicate with them on two meter, I mean with the repeaters we have around there we can, and sometimes I do, but they're not the most friendly of hams to new people I would say, not that they're ugly or intentionally being that way, I'm I'm not saying that at all. But again, they're in a different age group, I would say, at least it seems like that. I looked up on the map, there's a crap ton of ham radio licensed people here around me. Nobody uses it, I guess. We do have a very good linked repeater system in North Central Texas called the NCTC, North Central Texas Connection. I believe the name of the link, you can look it up, they have a little website. can get on it with all-star by the way just so everybody knows and I can get into that and I used to check into that all the time I don't know why I got out of the habit of it they have their nets on Thursday nights and probably just got out of the habit because of life so I would check into that and and and throw a little traffic that way but again they're above my pay grade when it comes to ham radio and I don't like to embarrass myself on radio so I don't I don't know, I have spent weeks now, three weeks brainstorming it, maybe longer than that. Gray could tell you. Gray and I had a little talk about fun a while back, because I wasn't having any, especially as a net controller at the time, and I think I was putting too much on me, too much expectation or something, and I've since changed and I'm loving it again, but I do want to modernize it a bit I want to put maps first on it and I think discord because I think we can be interactive I think we could probably build some kind of some type of integration that would connect with an all-star node for listening or capturing the echolink chat perhaps and dropping it inside of a discord chat but we could be more interactive I mean if you wanted to have video if you wanted to be able to text live not like echolink if you wanted to share files or anything, I would like to build, eventually, and it's probably above my skill level, to be honest, but I would eventually like to build a dashboard that does all of that. You know, it's just one of those things, you can throw up a QR code, spin up a web app, you know, and I have a web app being built, by the way, and I'll share it with you, I have it on GitHub. might be interested in it and it is a and it is a simple a very simple logger that I'm that I'm working on for do drop in let me take a quick break and I'm returning I have the MVP built it works it's functionable I have the API set to ham database ham DB because it doesn't cost and so that all works pretty well I really just need to get off my buttons and continue developing it and working in features. The idea was to make it friendly for people like Daryl. I don't know if it would work for Kevin, K.K. Wow, because I think he's completely blind, and he uses Blind Shell. But Russell has a hard time sometimes keeping up with his list and needs help, so my idea was to build a quick, spin up a little web app that any net operators would dig up in would have the password to. There's no credentials, it's just the password to gain entry to be able to input data. You're able to tap in the call sign. It sends and gets to the API results and drops back in the name and the location. And that's all it does. There's two pages. One is the controller page, and one is the viewer page. My idea was to spin up a little QR code, sign up to the web app address to the view page and then anybody in the world could just view it and I specifically thought of Russell because all you'd have to do is just go down in the order of the of the the log and the controller it could be me could be Dale it can be you can be gray it could be Kevin any of us could pitch in at any time and help anybody out on the back end on the controller page so you know if they all need to leave whether we log in real quick and and everything's already there ready to go he just assumes the the controller page anyhow Allah I'll send you the link to github and you can feel free to to look at it play with it make I'm no I'm no designer no programmer I am NOT skilled super skill at all this is more of a skill building project for me than anything but I'll send it back to you or or KK life since I'm taking up all the time, KJ5-ILQ.
