Good evening Bill and everybody on the net. This is Dean KG7 ODB. Yeah, I'm actually just barely Inside of Seattle if I walk right up the street I end up in Shoreline. So yeah, I'm just on the very edge and Yeah, right walk right up the street to Pagliacci's pizza that actually sounds pretty good, but I think I'm gonna probably hold back tonight so anyway it's good to hear you back on the net but I gotta say that it's rather apropos that Tim KI7 ZEI is coming up after me he hosted in place of you last week and he gave you really give you a run for your money I just got to say that so let's see what I got today I I went to the Hangout at the Hangar for the Lake Washington Ham Club and I got there pretty late. I had kind of a slow day. I had a few things I needed to do but showed up and I ended up buying a radio. There was a silent key sale and I feel really bad because I don't remember the name or the sign of the person who is the silent key, but I picked up an Icom IC2200 monoband radio. It's a little bit of an older model. It does have the D-Star module, and it came with the Archie Systems software and cable. So I used it on the Simplex Net tonight and got good results. and I'm not really familiar with this radio, but later on in the net I heard Dean N7XS check in and he was using one, so if, I don't know, there are a few hams out there who if they're using a particular radio you can pretty much take it to the bank. Let's see, I'm going to drop for a second.
