Well, this is W3LS Whiskey 3 Lima Sierra, and my name is Mary, which is probably where you got the M from. And I'm here in Eugene, and yes, this is the first time I have checked in here. I'm using the Repeater Phone app, which some people look down on, but it works. not to like. I have been here in Eugene for 22, 23 years now. Wow. Long time. Originally from California. Lived in Maryland where I had a job for 28 years and then moved out here after taking an early out. And so this is my first time on the net. I just found the net on a list of all-star nets. I've been looking for nets and ways of running into people because it seems like repeaters are not as busy as they once were. I was licensed in three land, hence the three call, but my license ran out after I moved out here and then just a couple three years ago I got it back. found this call and was lucky enough to get it and so everything's real different from how it was back when I was operating in the 70s 80s and early 90s and it's a real learning curve so good evening to everybody and it sounds like you have a vision problem just like I do in my case I've had it all my life so I don't have a vision problem I just don't have any I guess you could call it a problem. But anyway, I don't want to time it out, so I'll send it back to net control. Thank you for letting me in the net. W3LS. I also started many years ago with HS and that was it and now we have all this digital stuff but look at what it brings you. You can visit with us. You should know that we are one of the less silent repeaters in the country probably. We have three nets every day, 9 a.m. noon and 9 p.m. every day of the year, 365 days a year. How nice for you to find Ann similarly abled or disabled and youíll find her, sheís always on Saturday night, sheís just about always here and I suspect, I donít attend all of our other nets but I bet youíll find her around a lot too.
