Yeah, you know, it's funny, yeah, one of the first things I tried when I was a kid was the string in the tin can. But that actually works pretty well, it's kind of fun to try that. But I was using a tube transmitter, I was 13 years old, I got this heat kit set up and I soldered it all together and it put out, I think, 50 watts morse code with a crystal controlled frequency, so I only had a couple of crystals and I had to use those frequencies only. I think it was on 80 meters, had a vertical antenna backyard, and I had a little receiver that a friend loaned me, but it was all tube equipment. Yeah, so DX20 heat kit back in the day when you built your own equipment. Back to you there, Darrell. N0BO.
