Bobby, you have your own private round. Good morning, sir. Good morning. I'm spoiled. I won't take advantage of it. That's a quick update on the sad saga of me and Winlink. I've been pulling my hair out trying to learn how to use Winlink. Actually, that's a lie. I don't have any hair left to pull out. But anyway, I made one small step towards success. Thanks to some help from some kind Elmers, I learned that the plastic plug that plugs into the back of my radio is notoriously badly manufactured, and you have to use an X-Acto knife and trim a millimeter of the plastic away from the plug in order for it to fully seat in the radio. And I've done that and done a test and found that in fact you can trigger PTT through the cable. So that eliminates the physical impediment. I still have to mess with all of those darn settings which seem like infinite. There's just setting after setting after setting. But tomorrow is a day off. So tomorrow I get to play radio. Today I'm working but tomorrow I get to play and maybe I'll figure out Winlink once and for all and then I'll celebrate by going and having dinner with family. That's the Winlink update.
