Okay, okay. Yeah, I'm gonna have to break down the day at some point now. I guess watch it my wife was actually telling me that I write you was talking to Dale and I said what was the exact wordage? I can apparently just see the video on the news Yeah, she said it just came on the news and she said that the part that they showed that the politicians said if How did you put it that basically they said if they give you an unlawful order you don't have to follow it Which is factually true That is very factually true. They tell you in the middle, they teach you that you actually have to go through classes, okay? We had to be trained on Geneva Conventions. We had to be trained on rules of engagement. We had to be trained on a bunch of stuff like that that civilians never, ever really have to give a thought about. You know, like if we're in war, we can't just like shoot somebody. There's a rule of engagement. You know, we have strict rules that when you serve that you have to have bad-byes. Those are all orders, every benefit. So, you know, what if your rule of engagement says you cannot, upon somebody in a safe, shot one of your people, unless there has been a physical injury caused by the aggressor, you cannot engage them. If that was a rule of engagement, would that be a lawful order or an unlawful order? You see a private who's 17 or 18, 19, 20 years old, they don't have the mental facilities to know if that's lawful or not. They're kids. I know. I used to be one. I used to lead some. When you have anybody under the age of 24, probably, in the military, you're dealing with high school and college guys, mostly alpha guys, mostly guys who think they are the baddest dudes on earth. You can imagine the masculinity, the attitudes, the cockiness. can imagine now now you have to multiply that as you move up in layers in the military okay I myself was a paratrooper we're a little bit cockier than just a regular infantry guys okay Rangers are a little cockier than paratroopers I know because I got to serve a little bit with them before I went to the 82nd but I can tell you special forces Delta Force black ops they even cost you because they're better they all follow laws whether you If you agree with them or disagree with them, that doesn't matter. That's irrelevant. The only time you can disobey a direct order is if it's unlawful. The president says, you, shoot this dude in the head now. That's unlawful. You don't have to follow that. If the president says, hey, attack that boat because we have intelligence that leads us to believe that it has drugs, you are required by your oath in the UCMJ to follow that law or follow that order. If it's wrong, if it's illegal, you're not held responsible for following the order your leaders are. All right, take a real quick break and see if anybody wants to comment.
