Good morning indeed, of course, we had a glorious day yesterday sun everywhere today Starting a little slower But I know the Sun just seems to start to be coming out here in shoreline north of Seattle Yesterday, I got a package in from a place. I'd ordered some hardware from some hinges Had to order a meal or couldn't find him anywhere locally from Florida and And I ordered them like two and a half weeks ago, and I thought, gosh, they should have been here by now. So I looked online, and a couple of days ago, it said that the package had gone to Guam and then to Hawaii. And I thought, OK, I wonder if it's going to get back here. Somehow it got misdirected. Anyway, it did show up yesterday. So I got my hinges for fixing a friend's kitchen cabinet. So that'll be good. And then yesterday, well, I lent my old Kia Soul out to a friend that was over in Bremerton and I got a call that the car was not working. So I loaded up a bunch of tools and stuff and went over there yesterday morning on a ferry ride. Beautiful day for a ferry ride, beautiful day to be working outside, it was very nice. Anyway, I get there, the first thing I do is I open up my car, I take about five boxes of stuff with me. My tools are not very well organized and I had just thrown stuff in boxes and carried them down to my car. First thing that I realized I forgot was a multimeter. I had it laid out but I didn't bring it. So I had to go buy a multimeter and actually it was a sale on the multimeter. It was just this cute little digital one. It had a 50% off coupon thing going on so I got that for just like $14. But then I needed a 9 volt battery and there wasn't a Dollar Tree around so I ended up spending five dollars was the least expensive nine volt battery so we have to cost of the meter practically. Anyway did some troubleshooting first and it was I kind of I want to make sure it was actually the alternator before I purchased an alternator on this side four hundred three hundred eighty nine dollars plus core charge and plus tax so all together over four hundred dollars last time I bought an alternator it was like a hundred bucks 120 bucks or something of course that was a few years ago $400 so I want to make sure it was the alternator before I took it out of the box anyway so did some testing initially the alternator was putting a little bit just measuring the voltage with voltmeter and then it stopped so I feel there's something wrong probably a bad diode or something went ahead got the alternator out second
