When it comes to these digital radios, I mean when you you hit your PTT and you talk that's fine, right? But there's so much other stuff going on Especially when you're talking on a digital radio because your voice is being converted to two packets Essentially then that's what gets transmitted over the air. So anybody that's listening on a regular radio. All they hear is noise and Then anybody that's on the same DMR channel talk group ID color code, you know that information matches then you can hear each other because your radio on the receiving end will decode those digital packets and turn them back into audible voice again but on these new systems man they're incorporating so much else into those data packets it's kind of incredible but lots of stuff to learn you know and that's what keeps me going I think in this hobby is all the new things that you can learn.
