And it suggests that raccoons may be on the verge of becoming domesticated. And that ultimately means bringing them closer to pets, like dogs and cats. The study was conducted from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Department of Biology, where it found that the domestication process could be a result of the animals living near humans. And the science has examined over 20,000 raccoon images from across the country and found that these little animals now have a shorter south compared to their more country counterparts.
