It should work with Chirp. It's just Chirp is, it's hard to cut and paste into the format that Chirp presents. In RT system, it's just a little more robust, and I can grab old RT data, like from a Yaesu FT-70, for example, copy that into, just drag and drop, practically, into the new software for this new radio, and get it moved really quickly without typing anything. Makes it just easier to move files around. Yeah, I get you, yeah, that does make sense. Yeah, chirp is a bit of a pain at times. It does work on so many radios though. I will be diving into chirp later this week to get all those repeater roundabout repeaters in there in the repeater roundabout numbering order because that makes it a lot of fun when you're hopping around to different repeaters and you pick up a bunch of gang to go from the repeater to repeater and it's just so nice and easy to just say, OK, we're going to numbers.
