Thank you. Well, the weather here is probably the same as it is everywhere else. My outside thermometer says 55 degrees, so it's not too cold for a walk in the rain. Yesterday I had a pretty busy day. I put up some pickled beets. I've never tried the lack of, you know, fermentation with beets yet, but Donna bought some beets and she said why don't you mix them up. So we got that to cook in in a jar for Thanksgiving and also asparagus and I've done asparagus once before and that's pretty much the same as pickling cucumbers which is about so for every quart of water and then whatever spices you like, like dill, garlic, hot pepper flakes, like that. So that's going to be yummy as little appetizers. And I'm kind of on a trail to try some pickled eggs as well. I saw a little presentation on the internet yesterday and this one fellow said we do a dozen a week. He said The kids just love them, and it's simple, and it's fun, and I think I'm going to try that next time around. We've got some extra jars. Let's see, what else is going on? Oh, yesterday, it was a pretty nice sunny day, partly sunny, and I said, I'd better rake those leaves. The backyard was full of leaves from this tulip tree, tree and the front yard it was full of leaves from our cherry tree and the neighbor's tree. I said you know you know I mean if I wait till tomorrow they'll be all wet and heavy. So by golly I did the front yard I did the backyard and now my big green recycling is all the way full.
