Also, Josh, donít worry about it. I mean, I know what theyíre worth talking about. I actually have a guy I watch and listen to, and heís on that network all the time. But, you know, thereís just people out there that theyíll shun just about everything underneath the sun when it comes to if you donít have the right equipment or the right equipment the equipment that he thinks you should have and all this kind of crap. You just slough them off. In fact, you don't even give them time. You just ignore them and go on your merry way and enjoy your hobby. But don't let it discourage you because for every one of them, there's ten nice guys. This is repeater station kilo, kilo seven. Oh, yes, sir. Yes, sir. Like I said, I was real new back then. I actually had a buddy sort of here in town, he's a local ham guy, his name is Donny. I tried to get him on this net, he's just not into the digital stuff. He's too old school, you know, he's an older man, real nice guy, blind pretty much, kind of reminds me of Dale, he's like I think 98% blind or something. So anyhow, he was actually, they were actually my first contact, him and a guy named Steven here locally in Old Wells. They were my first contacts, really, I guess, over at RF. And Steven and I actually found out I knew him for a while. I've known him for it. I knew him for it. He just passed away. He's a silent key now. He passed away a few months ago. But I ended up realizing, hey, I've known this guy for like 15 years. And so he wasn't a very nice guy, but he's an engineer, so he's very direct. And I knew him from years past, so we got along pretty well, and Donny and I got along really well and so yeah I got on I got an NCTC and tried it out and Donny and then was teaching me how to use it and and so they were on there whenever that happened and Donny he like I said he reminds me a little bit of Dale he just doesn't mind saying what he wants to say and so he's doing the guy up I mean I didn't even know what it was all about at first but yeah no that's that's the reason I'm on here this is this is so far where I like to be so they don't bother me. I have a philosophy in life. If you don't screw me, pay my bills, or in some way enhance my life, you don't get to, uh, I don't really care about what your thoughts are of me. That's kind of the way I look at it in life these days. Oh, man, it's almost time to top off my coffee already. I'll be right back.
