I always do a test when I get on there and you know before I start doing the net to make sure that the audio is good so there won't be any issues right. So I did a test with two people or three people before the net started there. So at the time though you're saying that you're the only one that can hear me and you're on the PTC computer. So I was listening in on the PTC computer on the radio itself and I was hearing everybody come in pretty clear and hear yourself too. The only time that this happened to me is when I was on reverse and didn't know it. But I didn't even know what reverse was back then but I know what it is now. So you may have a mirror dropping now. Over. Excellent. I only got the last few minutes of the net unfortunately. I was playing with my HF rig. So happy. Me and my first HF contact yesterday with the maritime net in the States and I spoke to somebody in South Carolina this morning. So my HF career has started. There's exciting news there. Definitely exciting news. I know the bands haven't been the best when I started my HF last year at the same time on the 17th is when I started going out and getting all HF. I did an FCA in the home the end of June because I didn't have an HF rig until the end of June. And Rob there of the E38 RF came over and got me set up on FT8. So I was using that to get scared to get out there and talk believe it or not on HF. I could not get the tuning right. I didn't know what a person's voice was supposed to sound like. So I didn't know if I was on right frequency. It was just a lot to do. Coming from an 11 meter guy here you just click on it. You just turn it on. It's already on the channel. You just talk and that's all you have to do. That's where I come up from. I always had my radios installed at truck stops. So I didn't even tune anything. I just got in there and used it. Then I got into ham radio and it was a lot of work. It was a lot of work. I discovered a lot about myself, about the equipment and stuff like that. But it is a chore. It is a chore. You just can't go out there and just turn it on. But it's a real rewarding album. Like I said I've learned a lot about myself and the equipment I have. Back over to you. Talk about learning new things. This radio has very sophisticated receive functions. You really need to know what you're doing. But once you do. I was pulling signals out of the mud by adjusting various buttons. I was so happy with my acquisition after those contacts. It spurred me on. I've got the manual next to me. I'll be trying something new every day until I'm asked to this radio.
