Good morning, it's interesting hearing that tall fishing email stories considering how much how many more training emails I get abused with every all time at work You know report this email is is fishing. Yeah. Yeah, that's another one. Thank you Anyways, uh, hi. Hi on all that. Yeah, good a good on seen it and good on all that stuff. It's just it's yeah Sometimes I get abused with too many training emails. So that's another story But yeah, uh, what else do I got going on out here? I'm walking the dog right now, or wandering around the neighborhood. I found her doing her off-leash thing, checking the neighborhood out, as she does. We got our routes that we got figured out, and all that good stuff. So, that's what we're doing. And, uh, yeah, I've been working on some, uh, I don't know if it was Jackson, I've been working with a bunch of AI stuff. And it's actually more interesting, I'm actually having it write scripts for me and things like that. like that I'm actually working in an interesting note-taking wiki software to keep track of this world building I'm doing with the AI but that's another story because I'm actually having to convert like it's writing things and it's note-taking and I'm having to fix all of like the headers and scripts and links and things like that in it and it's pretty cool because I can have like I can say hey I have a problem with this file and it's written in the wrong way and it needs to be written closer to this way and it's like oh let me write rewrite let me give you a file in Python real quick and you can run this and it will fix all the formatting in your file for you and sure enough I run these I run this on a batch group of files and I have the formatting fix I'm like thanks that's pretty sweet it's way easier than than doing it by hand on 10 or 15 files right so it's pretty magical sometimes and I can get the right prompt in there and get it to tell me what's you know what the what all the right things to do is so that's the kind of magic of working with AI is learning that the right prompting and how to do the right stuff is needed the right data yeah I have these two files one has some of the right stuff some has the wrong the wrong stuff you know you need to fix sure I don't know if it knows what we need to fix. So anyways, there's my morning ramble as I walk the dog here. Hopefully he's having a good day. It's good to hear everybody's been net this morning. All that good stuff. All my hamsters out there doing their hamster things. Spin the wheels of life. Hopefully he's having a good day and it's nice out here. It's a nice brisk morning, but it's all good stuff. Another day on the right side of the earth here. or so and seven your age I'll hand it back to you guys this is repeater station kilo kilo seven November Quebec November hey good morning Mike great to hear from you boy are you are so on the mark on learning how to use AI it's funny I've been I think there's gonna be a trend that's starting now where you kind of collect and you know prompt prompt templates I should say where you know you need a prompt for an AI to do a specific thing and then you say I have a bunch of them I've saved for software engineering where if I want a code review I give it the persona that I want the AI to take on in other words like you're a senior react developer and you care about you know consistency and readability and performance like you give it you give it the things and then you give it the problem or you give it the code snippet that you're looking at and ask it for very specific things you're I'm learning you know that's prompting an AI is you nailed it that is the skill is learning how to prompt and getting the results somebody I was talking to at work said that in and I completely agree with him prompting an AI is just like writing code you're Tell you're giving instructions to a computer to do something for you. And if you think of it that way You're writing you're writing a program. You're saying hey, here's what I want, you know back and then you get it back Anyway, I had another topic that's near dear to my heart. It's like I've been Increasingly using AI during my day-to-day dev work.
