good morning Jim great catch and great PSA as well I can tell you I'm pretty confident I know what would happen if you were to open the attachment particularly if it's a PDF attachment there are ways that you can embed code into a PDF that will give the the same if you're logged into like Facebook or if you're logged into your bank or whatever on in your browser and you open that PDF you could be somebody can steal your session it's a it's complicated and weird and and then and then you end up getting and then you end up you know if you're if you're whatever you're logged into they will have access to so yeah good call on not opening that attachment I love it when people see these scam and do due diligence and and and avoid getting scammed I don't know there's a I have a that this is a topic that's near and dear to my heart because I've seen people get scammed and I hate seeing that happen so anyway you touched on a subject that like I said is near and dear to my heart so I really I think it's great that you were cautious on that one. Good stuff Jim you have a wonderful weekend thanks for stopping by thanks for this for sharing that PSA I think that's important for people to know of course it's not just ARRL there's gonna there's you know it's becoming just a really quick I'm not going to take too much time but really quick scans are becoming increasingly complicated particularly because of AI you no longer can rely on looking at emails and judging whether they're valid based on how they look they're getting way way better at crafting emails that look just like it comes from your bank so having that kind of skepticism in mind is really really important anyway okay enough I'll stop I'll stop I'll stop my soapbox 73 Jim and Jane you guys Have a wonderful weekend next on the list. I've got Mike November 7 uniform Romeo hotel. Good morning
